<title><![CDATA[2009′s Boldest, Most Beautiful Wedding Gown Trends]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Finally! 2009′s gowns bring brides some real choices, after several years of strapless uniformity. (Thank you, Vera Wang!) If you’re the type of bride who wants a couture (or couture-inspired) gown to match the finer shades of your personality and wedding style, 2009 is the year with your name on it! Here are a few of the hottest trends going:

Crumb-Catcher Bodices.

This regal, old-world design twist came from that http://www.dressmall.co.uk/sale-plus-size-prom-dresses-21.html(Plus Size Prom Dresses) same lust for luxe that brought us Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, and its subsequent style explosion in the bridal world.

Greek Goddess Columns.

The ultimate look backward, the style takes us back to the lovely goddesses (and early supermodels) of Greece’s Golden Age. With plenty of glorious examples to be seen from bridal magazines to the red carpet, this style’s not going away soon. Happily, it lends itself to arm bling and the half up-half down style that’s still so alluring to brides. Also note: http://www.dressuksale.com/ukcheap-evening-dresses-21.html(Evening Dresses) bridesmaids look amazing in goddess gowns when the bride’s wearing something more structured.

Asymmetrical / One-Shouldered Styles.

These gowns are sexy attention-getters. Another hot commodity on the red carpet, the asymmetrical top adds up to an exciting departure from same-old strapless, while exuding plenty of come-hither vibes.

Subued Color Plays.

Color’s no longer the domain of a bold — or even distracting — burst of contrast in the train or cuffed bodice of an otherwise stark-white gown. Instead, http://www.dressuksale.com/ukcheap-mother-of-the-bride-dresses-23.html(Mother of the bride dresses) next year’s color inspiration flows from Vera Wang’s gowns in warm toasts and charcoals, St. Pucchi’s fabulous champagne and platinum combos, or gowns that ripple with multicolored gardens of embroidery (Claire Pettibone).

The Mini.

No longer the oddball in an otherwise full-length portfolio, minis have become serious business, with layers and ruches and ruffles aplenty. Increasing number of brides find them a brilliant choice for tent weddings on the shore or in the vineyard. And let’s not forget those brides who want a gorgeous but mobile second gown to get down and boogie the night away.

<title><![CDATA[Lindsay Lohan to Play Sharon Tate in Manson Film?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Lindsay Lohan is reportedly eager to play one of Hollywood's most famous murder victims, Sharon Tate.

Photographer Tyler Shields tells EW that Lohan is in talks to star as Tate in his upcoming film 'Eyes of a Dreamer,' about Charles Manson, whose followers butchered Tate and her unborn child in 1969.

Shields says he wants the controversial Lohan precisely because of her well-documented troubles. "Sharon Tate was a movie star," he says. "So I want [an actress who] you already have a backstory with. People have a backstory with someone like Lindsay. And I think it's very relatable."

<description><![CDATA[Traditionally, when a bride has a wedding, she should dress in a white wedding dress. But now, white is not the only color of wedding dresses. If you are tired of traditional white wedding dresses, you can try a colored wedding dress. I think colored wedding dresses will more attractive, unique and eye-catching.

Many brides choose colored wedding dress according to their tastes, and it also affected by the seasons. Spring brides choose pale pastel pinks, lilacs, blues and purples, while those who marry in the summer choose deeper shades of these same colors. Those people who get married in autumn often choose yellows, gold and even dark orange. The winter brides make the boldest statement.

Colored wedding dresses are all designed by well-known designers. If you have ideas about colored wedding dresses, you can exchange your ideas with your designers. They will give you good tips based on their professional knowledge about colored wedding dresses.

<title><![CDATA[Unique Wedding Trends In 2010]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[This year, most traditional rules are being broken and various unique ideas are being incorporated in the most wonderful life-changing event between two people: the wedding.

At present, weddings have fewer guests, comprising mainly of family and close friends. Due to the state of the economy, most couples have to be selective with the people they invite. On the other hand, with a smaller number of people, the ceremony has become more pleasantly intimate.

For venues, a wedding at home is not only a great idea when the budget is tight. It feels more personal and puts guests at ease. For other couples without budget constraints, they can exchange their ‘I do’s’ in lovely garden settings, white-sand beaches, even underwater. A recent trend has seen people in Europe exchange vows in sub-zero temperatures at Ice Bars. With the enchantingly frosty atmosphere, the couple is apt to keep love’s fire burning. Other unique venues include flying in remodeled Boeing airplanes and atop tall skyscrapers for those who want a heavenly experience.

What bride would be without a bouquet? Nowadays, a lot of brides are going for the picked-it-myself look. Although roses will never go out of style, there is a higher demand for exotic tropical flowers arranged in a loose, thrown together cascade. Other non-floral elements are also being incorporated like crystals, pearls and feathers.

And speaking of feathers, ever since Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw got married with a bird on her head, there has been a growing frenzy over peacock feathers. The lush hues of cobalt blue, emerald green give any wedding an elegant and stylish flair. Peacock theme details have also graced tabletop decorations, floral arrangements, and wedding attire. This leads us to the wedding dress -

The past years show a proclivity for strapless gowns, and the trends show that it will continue this year. The hemline, however, remains diverse. Brides can choose floor length billowing skirts, mermaid styles; or short and sweet with tea-length and above the knee. There is also an emerging demand for color. Pure virginal white is a bit archaic and so unforgiving when it comes to skin tone. Shades of ivory compliment many complexions better and does not stray too far from tradition. Touches of color added here and there, like a ribbon sash around the waist or a layer that peeks under the skirt offers a more adventurous approach. Or brides can go all out and walk down the aisle in a bold colored dress. Blue seems the favored color of the moment, followed by valentine red.

Contemporary weddings have also revamped the procession. Instead of a singular central aisle, the bride and groom enter and walk separate paths that converge at the altar. It also strategically seats the two sides together so there is only one family.

With so much of the wedding conventions being altered, it is something of a relief to see that wedding rings are still part of the ceremony. However, couples want their rings – symbols of commitment and eternal love – with new twists. They can choose from a wide array of metals and designs – filigreed, multi-banded, set with clusters of gems or pearls, or engraved with unusual markings. Popular as of the moment are binary code and fingerprints.

Also gaining in popularity are wedding ring tattoos. Actually a centuries old custom, tattoos are an exceptional way to represent a couples’ loyalty and devotion, not to mention very stylish. Consider Eva Longoria who had the date of her marriage to Tony Parker tattooed on the inside of her wrist.
